In this practice, we’ll be cultivating loving-kindness. We all have within us, this natural capacity for loving-kindness, a friendship that is unconditional, open, gentle, and supportive. Loving-kindness is a natural opening of a compassionate heart to ourselves and to others. It’s a wish that everyone be happy, safe, and well.
We begin with developing this loving-kindness toward ourselves, allowing our hearts to open with tenderness, and then open that circle to a dear one, a neutral person, one with whom you’ve had conflict with, and then the all beings.
